Campus:

IBRADs campus is a refuge from the doldrums of the city life, yet in the city itself. Situated in a lush green three acres campus, IBRAD is only five K.M. away from the airport and 4 KM from Ultadanga on the VIP Road, Kestopur. Government of West Bengal has allotted three acres of land for IBRAD at VIP road, Kolkata. The Ford Foundation as a special case has extended support through corpus and grant-in-aid to develop the training institute to launch formal Master Degree courses on Management, Natural Resource Management, Public Health Education and sustainable Human Development. IBRAD again through its VASUDHA programme has committed to develop an overarching sustainability strategy that aims to educate the students and staffs about energy plan for conserving resources, reducing waste, pollution and to initiate lifestyle changes, which will promote in developing a “Green Campus” as a model.

Library:

IBRAD'S library has collection of books and other materials maintained for reading, consultation, study and research and organized to provide access to a specific clientele.

The Library with its modern collection of information resources and innovative information services plays a vital role in the intellectual’s pursuits of IBRAD's academic community. With a collection of books of addition to journals and threses, our library is reckoned as one of the best in city in the field of management NRM, JFM and Sustainable development.

Library holds a rich collection of books of more than 1200 titles, subscription of nearly 35 printed journals, databases, audio-visual, e-journals, annual reports of top companies and Government departments, case studies, conference proceedings, etc. In addition, IBRAD is a member of British Council Library.

Computer Laboratory

IBRAD is committed to provide state-of-art technology in the form of its computer center. The Computer laboratory has broadband Internet access, an audio-visual laboratory with video-conferencing facilities.

Internet facility is available round the clock using high speed Internet connection of 512 Kbps RF connectivity

Eating Together

In IBRAD family students, staffs and faculty eat together, relax and get opportunity to have informal talk and know each beyond classrooms. They talk and communicate better and find out about each other's days experience thus develop strong social bond and that is the best part. Many will also recall these times as some of their most cherished memories in IBRAD.

Green Campus

IBRAD has never forgot its roots for Understanding the concepts of biological, social and other natural sciences for developing a coherent body of knowledge. IBRAD has started its in house project on named “VASUDHA” has been initiated in the own campus only.

  • Managing e-waste and work towards paperless organization
  • Development of Solar energy
