BBA (H) programme in IBRAD

A business curriculum related to BBA (H) in IBRAD is designed with a mix of theory and practical to develop professionals who must have a broad knowledge about the different aspects of business administration and a reasonable grounding in other relevant areas.

This course offers students to gain a foundation in relevant subjects other than business (mathematics, social science, economics). Because of the globalization of the economy, we expect students to take English language course. While this will give fluency in Communicative English, it will also broaden their competence in the language as part of their career portfolio. Students will also take an introductory course about business.

The course will focus on different concepts and theories related to functions of business administration. These provide an acquaintance with important concepts and issues which provide a basis for subsequent learning. The elective courses address other important functional subjects and increasingly help the students to take an integrative and critical thinking perspective. We also expect students to take several upper-level electives relevant to the cotemporary society like Natural Resource Management, Sustainable Development, Human Development, Agri Marketing in a coherent area outside of business administration, in order to broaden their knowledge base.

It is the personal and professional responsibility of each candidate to know the proper sequence of study. Most courses have pre-requisites and registration usually is blocked if a person is missing or has not passed a pre-requisite. Candidates are expected to read the guidelines carefully and to consult with academic advisors of IBRAD before making choices.
