Overview

The National Rural Livelihood Mission constitutes a paradigm shift in the implementation of poverty alleviation programmes in the country. It is built on the lessons from different ongoing programmes of the GOI and the states. The mission aims at reducing poverty through promotion of diversi?ed and gainful self-employment and skilled wage employment opportunities to increase income of the rural poor on a sustainable basis.
