
Natural resource management (NRM) is a complex area. There is an imperfect scientific understanding of natural systems and how best to manage them. Sustainable NRM essentially revolve around resources (such as land, crops, seed, labor, knowledge, cattle, money, social relationships, and so on), but these resources cannot be disconnected from the issues and problems of access and changing political, economic and socio-cultural circumstances. IBRAD with his network of community leaders under program SANCALP is helping out the problems related to Sustainable NRM and it was quite heartening to see that how the community people are coming forward jointly for the cause of sustainable NRM.
