
In brief Community Health Management empowers human resources, at community and district levels. It fosters team spirit and team work within the community and leads to collective management of community health, thus contributing to the strengthening of district health systems. In other words, it improves the health and well being through community participation and optimum utilization of government health delivery system. IBRAD has carried out capacity building training of the health care providers on enhancing the skills of safe motherhood and child survival and to motivate them towards result based outputs. And have done awareness programme on Health, Sanitation, Livelihood, Education, etc. in different sub-center areas of Barasat, Block – I and Uttar Dinajpur where IBRAD have formed 20 Self Help Groups and 248 SGSY group.
